Sage's Story

Hey, everyone! I'm Sage, and I'm so excited to share a personal story with you all today. It's something that's been a part of me for a long time, but I haven't had the opportunity or courage to share it openly until now. So, here goes!

I've been a student at my high school for a while since like 2024 or something, idk.Well, my friends knew me as Rose(birth-name) and I wanted to tell them my secret, that I was in fact transgender, and so I waited a bit by giving off hints, like wearing boy clothes, have a masc name/pronouns, and eventually, they figured it out, they all accepted me for me. I was biologically born female, and used to go by Rose, and use she/her pronouns, but it didn't quite fit me, by my real self, and when my teachers started to catch on and thought "It was just a phase" and they told me "it was" but I believed them for some time, and thought to myself one day, "y'know what, I'm not going to let anyone take me down" until one day in class, someone called me an "it" and outed me in class, when I did not want to tell anyone, but that one specific person ruined it all for me..
