NCF Impact Report 2024

The National Care Forum (NCF), the leading membership organisation for not-for-profit organisations in the care and support sector, is proud to announce the release of its Impact Report 2024.

This marks the fourth edition of our Impact Report, highlighting the remarkable achievements of the NCF team, our Board, and our members during the past year.

Throughout 2024, NCF has continued to play a crucial role in supporting care and support providers, both within our membership and across the wider sector, in navigating the challenges they face daily. We have remained steadfast in keeping our members informed and equipped to respond to evolving policy landscapes and sector developments.

2024 at a Glance:

  • Membership Engagement: Over 2,000 individuals participated in more than 50 Communities of Practice Forums, featuring external stakeholders such as DHSC, CQC, and NHS, alongside valued NCF Partners including Anthony Collins Solicitors and Mediahawk.

  • Innovative Learning Initiatives: Launching three new specialist networks—Social Care Nursing, CEOs & Senior Leaders, and LATCO—providing targeted support and resources for members.

  • Media and Advocacy Impact: Secured 785 media features across television, radio, and print, delivering NCF’s messages to an audience of 148 million, equivalent to £3.32 million in advertising spend.

  • Global Collaboration: Hosted the Five Nations Care Forum in Nottingham and participated in international events to exchange knowledge and influence shared policy agendas.

  • Driving Digital Transformation: Delivered Digital Leadership training to over 130 participants, advanced AI integration in social care, and collaborated on key resources to guide members through the shift from analogue to digital care systems.

  • Sector-wide Representation: Played pivotal roles in over 25 roundtables, ministerial meetings, and advisory groups, ensuring the voice of not-for-profit care providers was heard at all levels of government and policymaking.

  • Research and Innovation: Undertook studies on digitisation, cyber-security in charitable care organisations, and other critical topics, delivering actionable recommendations to strengthen the sector.

We look forward to building on these achievements in the coming year, continuing to champion a thriving, resilient, and innovative care sector. Together, we remain committed to providing exceptional care and support for all.
